Description

APPENDIX І (EXAMPLES IN ENGLISH) ||
My dear (because of your small number, how I have repeated many times) readers, I will try to tell you here, more or less, similar things to those, that I have told in the Russian Foreword, yet is briefer form, because this is not a book in English, these here are just Appendices in all other languages which I can use, in order to show you what brilliant idea I have got lately. Yeah, surely, but let me tell you that I am joking, I am using only the /name/ of that Putin, who is worldwide known nowadays, I make /no comments/ at all about his policy (which, I think, is right, after all, he wants to preserve one gigantic empire, and the empires must be preserved, for this reason people build today, as always, various unions and confederations). And I have my rights to joke, like all creative workers have after long years of work in their fields (like, say, Picasso have begun to picture torn pieces of something, just for the kick of it, and this has later become a vogue); I, for my part, have written really many (though usually not much read) books and in 3 languages, or as papers or chapters about a /hundred/ only in one language, plus a big amount of poetry (circa 30 /thousand/ lines, chiefly in Bulgarian and Russian, yet also in English). |
But there are other reasons for me, to joke and be happy, they are that this year is a jubilee for me in both aspects, I have made 30 years of work (if counting from the coming of democracy in Bulgaria, when I have been left unemployed, because of my /higher/ education) as independent writer, popularizer, and poet, and also 70 years as real person, what isn’t a trifle, to tell you. Due to this I have decided from the year before to do something extraordinary, what I have already done, I suppose (and the year is not yet finished), I have written about 10 books (2 of them were adaptation of former works, yet they were pretty big), and only with poetry were filled 5 or 6 (I have used also another pseudonym). What concerns the poetry I have finished for about 3 months 3 books in Bulgarian (a kind of trilogy) with by 101 funny five-lines, not exactly Limericks but similar variations (there can be 10 such types), all also acrostics and with the /same/ vertical message, what isn’t easy to maintain for so long, and I think you believe in this. Their topics were: some curiosities of life, the philosophical side of life, and sex and girls, and somewhere in the middle of this I have come to the brilliant idea (for it is such, there is no need to be too modest) to jump into Russian and to use the name of Putin for another series of similar five-lines. |
The very title is also pretty nice, it sounds “Hundred times Putin, who can beat this?”, but here I have written 3 times by 33 such verses plus one special as final. The topics here are: sex, politics, life, plus the final joke about Putin, and I mark them as the following types: ABABA, ABBBA, AABBB elongated, and the final one as AAAAA, where I use capital letters to designate how the lines rhyme; i.e. the first is by a row, the second is beginning – end and triple in the middle, the third is double and triple yet the last row is with 2 syllables longer, and the final I call five-rayed star, what is an obvious joke. I have to add also that all my verses are not really sentimental poetry, they are jokes plus philosophy, sometimes cynical (yet not vulgar or porno), so that they have to be read seriously and /slow/, not in a hurry (waiting for the bus to come); this is necessary because I use in the verses many of my ideas from my nearly 30 years creative work as popularizer, so that, to put it nicely: I propose to the readers to /sip a bit of poetical drink/ with my hard-digesting prosaic works! |
And so on. … ||
